  • Do I need a referral?

    No, just add your name to our Waitlist and we’ll get back to you.

  • How long is your waitlist?

    We are currently seeing clients within 30 days.

  • What is a “Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation”?

    A full evaluation is 3 parts:

    1. A diagnostic intake with the client or caregiver(s). This is a one-hour online appointment* with Dr. Norfolk to determine if testing is appropriate. If so, client moves on to the Evaluation.

    2. Evaluation. This is an in-person appointment with Dr. Norfolk that typically takes 2-3 hours. Caregiver(s) must be present unless the client is over 18 years old.

    3. Feedback. This is an online appointment* with Dr. Norfolk for final results and recommended next steps. While this is typically one-hour, he is happy to spend as much time as you need.

    *Please note, online appointments/teletherapy are available to Missouri residents only. Out-of-state clients will need to be seen in person at our Blue Springs clinic.

Payment and Insurance

  • Do you take insurance?

    We currently accept:

    Aetna

    Blue KC (aka Lucet)

    Your plan may require a co-pay. We will advise client responsibility through a good faith estimate after receiving preauthorization.

    We are working towards accepting more major insurances in 2026. Reach out to see if yours is in progress.

  • Do you take cash?

    Yes, We accept cash, check or credit card.

    We can provide a “superbill” for you to present to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

  • How much is an evaluation?

    Psychological evaluations are $1,400.

    We will verify insurance coverage to identify what financial responsibility you may have.

    Self-pay clients are required to pay in full prior to final feedback session.

  • How much is therapy?

    Dr. Norfolk’s hourly rate is $175.

    We will verify insurance coverage to identify what financial responsibility you may have.

    Self-pay clients will pay at time of service.
